August 23, 2015

On Wednesday, April 22, 2015, Primera was privileged to host DuPage County Board Chairman Dan Cronin at our Lisle office. Chairman Cronin was joined by Director of Public Works Nick Kottmeyer as well as Deputy Director of Facilities Tim Harbaugh.

Our DuPage County guests were welcomed by co-Founder Pedro Cevallos-Candau, Transportation Division Manager Ted Lachus and Power Division Manager Erin Inman. After a tour of the office, Chairman Cronin, Mr. Kottmeyer and Mr. Harbaugh were given a short presentation on Primera’s history and our commitment to DuPage County, and was introduced to more than a dozen employees living and working in the County.

Primera has a long history of working in DuPage County as well as working directly with them. In 2008, we opened our Lisle office to better support our local clients as well as offer our staff the ability to work closer to home. Since then, the office has grown tremendously. In 2013, we doubled our physical space and our staff has now grown to nearly 100 professionals, approximately half of which live within the County. In addition to DuPage County and the DuPage County Division of Transportation, Primera has successfully delivered power, transportation and buildings engineering and design expertise to local clients including the Illinois Tollway, ComEd, the Village of Hinsdale, Carol Stream Park District, Woodridge Park District, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, the Village of Bensenville, Bloomingdale Township and the College of DuPage, among others.
